Closed Published by Jonathan Dodson December 31st, 2009 on Creation ProjectCheck out the new post from Justin Hroch on Gospel-centered Questions for Fight Clubs:
The purpose for being in a Fight Club is to attack sin at its root and see Christ in the height of his glory. Too often our focus is on the external symptoms of sin, where we strive for victory by working […]
Well, at least this is a pretty funny story.
As you may have noticed like Dadd did in the guest room, we pulled all the faceplates off to paint (duh). They were yucky pretty much every where. MK found the super sweet screwless kind but for sure thought the plugs had to match. So we had some electrical […]
New Article: Credemption
Closed Published by Jonathan Dodson December 30th, 2009 on Creation ProjectNo one is culturally neutral. We are all enculturated from infancy to grave. To be human is to be cultural, and when Jesus became man, He became cultural. Jesus spoke Aramaic, went to Jewish temples, drank wine, wore sandals and grew a beard…

Closed Published by Jonathan Dodson December 27th, 2009 on Creation ProjectI’ve noticed very few Bibles in our Sunday gatherings. I hear very little rustling of pages while I am preaching. This has got me thinking. I’m curious. If you don’t bring your Bible on Sunday, why not?
Things sound different when you have a house.

Five Lines We Keep Using And I Keep Giggling About:
Have you seen the stud finder?
Where are my painting pants?
Are you done drilling yet?
Found another hole to foam up.
First you have to pop the breaker.
The famous Christmas hymn, Joy to the World, didn’t start out as a Christmas song. The hymn was written by Isaac Watts, a famous 18th century preacher turned hymn writer. With his health in steep decline, he turned from the pulpit to the pen, composing around 750 hymns.
Christ-centered Hymnody
Watts diverged from the traditional church […]
